Lane, better known as Po to his friends and family, grew up right here in the Myrtle Beach area. Playing baseball throughout his youth, he attended Erskine College on scholarship and graduated at the top of his business class. Continuing to play baseball after college, Lane started playing golf in the off-seasons for recreation.
After injuries forced him off of the baseball field, he wanted a career that would be as competitive and rewarding as baseball. Golf was the perfect fit. Lane's goals are to gain his Class-A PGA card as well as play competitive tournament golf.
