Jeff is originally from Mystic CT. He did not pick up the game until his mid-twenties after having played hockey for most of his early life. Once he began playing however like most of us he was hooked. In 2008 he began working at Shennecossett Golf Course in Connecticut and started to gain experience in all aspects of the golf business. In 2011 He took the first assistant position at Pinewood Country Club in Louisiana refining his management, teaching, fitting, and club building skills under a Top 100 teaching professional. In 2013 Jeff moved to Myrtle Beach and began working as an assistant professional at The River Club in Pawley’s Island. In the spring off 2014 he joined our staff at the Dye Club.

Gregory A. Motil, a native of southeastern Ohio, was born and raised in Pleasant City, Ohio. In April of 2000 he received his Degree in Business and Golf Complex Management from Golf Academy of America.

Upon completion of his education at the Golf Academy, he has worked at golf facilities on the Grand Strand and in Ohio.  Each of these employment opportunities has provided him with invaluable knowledge of the game of golf and the daily operations of a facility. He feels very fortunate to have developed numerous long-lasting relationships with each facility’s members and employees.

Gregory joined the staff of The Dye Club at Barefoot in March 2012 and looks forward to bringing his knowledge of the game and business of golf to the member community. Additionally, he will continue his education and work towards finishing his apprenticeship and gaining his Class-A PGA card. Joel is originally from Fort Wayne, IN. He picked up the game of golf at a young age and continued that through his high school sports career. After working for a few years, he decided to move down to Myrtle Beach and pursue his passion for the game of golf and further his education at the Golf Academy of America. Upon graduation in December of 2012, Joel joined the staff at the Dye Club in February 2013. He hopes to take the knowledge he gains and put it towards his Class A PGA membership.
