66! That was the final round score of Brian Duncan on the Love Course, to win the second event of the Nga Pro Tour Carolina Winter Series at Barefoot Resort & Golf. Players will be back next week (Feb14-16) to battle the Fazio Course.
Barefoot Resort & Golf, located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is excited to announce that they will kick of their 2012 tournament schedule with the NGA Hooters Tour. The tour will play in consecutive weeks starting January 31, 2012 and concluding on February 23, 2012. The quartet of events will encompass their Pro Series Ranking School.
The first event will take place at the Dye Club January 31 – February 2. The course is a Par 72; 7,343-yard layout within a gated community on the exterior perimeter of the property. Pete Dye is famous for his use of native grasses. The fairways are GN-1 Bermuda grass, a hybrid developed by Greg Norman Turf. The approaches are Tifdwarf Bermudagrass, the greens are L-93 Bentgrass and the dramatic visual effects are achieved by the Centipede and Zoysia grass roughs.
